Day 01 of 10

Departure from the United States

Your pilgrimage begins as you depart from your local airport on an overnight flight to Krakow, Poland. During the flight, enjoy in-flight meals and take time to prepare spiritually for the days ahead. Reflect on the lives of St. John Paul II, St. Faustina Kowalska, and St. Maximilian Kolbe as you journey to one of Europe's most Catholic nations.

Day 1 — Departure from the United States
Day 02 of 10

Arrival in Krakow

Upon arrival in Krakow, you will be greeted by your local guide and driver before transferring to your hotel. After check-in, begin an introductory tour of Krakow, one of Europe's oldest and most beautiful cities.

Walk through the historic Market Square, admire St. Mary's Basilica, and explore the charming streets that were once walked by Karol Wojtyła before he became Pope St. John Paul II. Visit the Archbishop's Palace and learn about Krakow's important role in Polish religious and cultural life.

If schedules permit, celebrate Holy Mass before enjoying a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Krakow.

Day 2 — Arrival in Krakow
Day 03 of 10

Krakow: The Royal City

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the spiritual and historical treasures of Krakow. Visit Wawel Cathedral, where Polish kings were crowned and buried, and pray at the tomb of St. Stanislaus, the patron saint of Poland.

Continue through the historic center, visiting St. Mary's Basilica and the medieval Market Square. Learn about the city's role in preserving the Catholic faith throughout centuries of war and occupation.

Celebrate Holy Mass and enjoy free time to explore the city before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 — Krakow: The Royal City
Day 04 of 10

Kazimierz and Tyniec Abbey

This morning visit Kazimierz, Krakow's historic Jewish Quarter. Walk through the old streets and learn about the centuries-long coexistence of Jewish and Christian communities in Poland.

Visit Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum and gain a deeper understanding of the tragic events of World War II and the courage shown by those who protected innocent lives.

In the afternoon continue to the Benedictine Abbey of Tyniec, beautifully located above the Vistula River. Founded in the eleventh century, the monastery remains an active center of prayer and monastic life. Spend time in reflection before returning to Krakow.

Day 4 — Kazimierz and Tyniec Abbey
Day 05 of 10

Czestochowa and Wadowice

Depart early for Czestochowa, home of the Jasna Góra Monastery and the miraculous icon of the Black Madonna. Pilgrims from around the world come here to seek the intercession of Our Lady.

Tour the monastery complex, visit the chapel housing the sacred icon, and celebrate Holy Mass.

Continue to Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope St. John Paul II. Visit his family home, now a museum, and the parish church where he was baptized. Learn about the early years that shaped one of the most beloved popes in Church history.

Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 — Czestochowa and Wadowice
Day 06 of 10

Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains

Today travel south to Zakopane, nestled in the beautiful Tatra Mountains. This area was especially dear to St. John Paul II, who frequently visited during his years as a priest and bishop.

Visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, built in thanksgiving for the pope's survival after the assassination attempt of 1981. Continue to the charming wooden Jaszczurówka Chapel and enjoy time to experience the unique culture and traditions of the Polish highlands.

After a day surrounded by the beauty of God's creation, return to Krakow for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 — Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains
Day 07 of 10

Auschwitz-Birkenau and Divine Mercy Shrine

This morning travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial. Walk through the preserved camp and reflect on the suffering endured by millions during World War II.

Visit the cell where St. Maximilian Kolbe sacrificed his life for another prisoner, offering a profound witness of Christian charity and self-sacrifice.

In the afternoon return to Krakow and visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Łagiewniki. Pray before the tomb of St. Faustina Kowalska and learn about the message of Divine Mercy that has spread throughout the world.

Day 7 — Auschwitz-Birkenau and Divine Mercy Shrine
Day 08 of 10

St. John Paul II Center and Wieliczka Salt Mine

After breakfast visit the St. John Paul II Center, one of Poland's most important modern pilgrimage sites. The sanctuary preserves relics of the saintly pope and tells the story of his remarkable life and pontificate.

Celebrate Holy Mass before continuing to the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine. Descend underground to discover magnificent chapels, sculptures, and altars carved entirely from salt by generations of miners.

Particularly impressive is the Chapel of St. Kinga, considered one of the most beautiful underground churches in the world.

Return to Krakow for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 — St. John Paul II Center and Wieliczka Salt Mine
Day 09 of 10

Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and Warsaw

After breakfast depart for Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, one of Poland's most important pilgrimage shrines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The sanctuary includes a basilica, monastery, and a series of chapels representing the Passion of Christ.

St. John Paul II often prayed here and credited the shrine with having a deep influence on his spiritual life.

Celebrate Holy Mass before continuing to Warsaw, Poland's capital city. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the restored Old Town, Cathedral of St. John, and other important landmarks.

Gather this evening for a farewell dinner celebrating the conclusion of your pilgrimage.

Day 9 — Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and Warsaw
Day 10 of 10

Return to the United States

After breakfast, transfer to Warsaw International Airport for your return flight home.
