Overview
This 10-day pilgrimage takes you through some of Italy’s most sacred and beautiful destinations, beginning in Rome and traveling through Assisi, Florence, Padua, and Venice. Attend a Papal Audience in Rome, visit the tomb of St. Francis in Assisi, explore Florence’s rich history, and sail through the iconic canals of Venice. Along the way, you will visit sites of deep spiritual significance, including the Basilica of St. Peter, the Abbey of Montecassino, and the Cave of St. Michael. This journey offers time for prayer, reflection, and a deep connection to the Christian heritage.

Tour Plan
Day 01
Departure
Depart the USA for an overnight flight to Italy. Meals served onboard.
Day 02
Arrival in Rome
- Arrive in Rome, meet your tour manager, and head to the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls for Mass.
- Panoramic tour of Rome, including the Colosseum and Venice Square.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03
Papal Audience / Trevi Fountain / St. Mary Major
- Attend the Papal Audience in St. Peter's Square (pending papal schedule).
- Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by free time at the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
- Tour the Basilica of St. John Lateran, the Holy Stairs, and St. Mary Major.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04
Rome – Montecassino – San Giovanni Rotondo
- Travel to Montecassino to visit the Abbey and celebrate Mass.
- Continue to San Giovanni Rotondo for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05
San Giovanni Rotondo – Cave of St. Michael
- Visit the tomb of St. Padre Pio and the Capuchin Monastery.
- Travel to the Cave of St. Michael the Archangel and return to San Giovanni Rotondo for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06
Lanciano – Cascia – Assisi
- Visit the Church of St. Francis in Lanciano, site of the Eucharistic Miracle, and celebrate Mass.
- Continue to the Sanctuary of St. Rita in Cascia, then proceed to Assisi.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07
Assisi
- Celebrate Mass at the Tomb of St. Francis and tour the Basilica of St. Francis with a local guide.
- Visit the Basilica of St. Clare, the Sanctuary of San Damiano, and the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08
Assisi – Florence – Siena – Padua/Venice
- Travel to Florence for a guided city tour, then continue to Siena to visit the cathedral.
- Proceed to Padua for a visit to the Basilica of St. Anthony and celebrate Mass.
- Continue to Venice/Mestre for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09
Venice
- Take a private boat to Venice and enjoy a guided tour of the city, including the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Basilica.
- Free time for optional activities, such as a gondola ride or visit to a Murano glass factory.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10
Departure
Transfer to Venice’s airport for your return flight, concluding the pilgrimage.
